Does anyone know a reliable easy way test the CAS on a VS V6 ? The only method i know is as the Gregories describes , which involves disconnecting the DFI harness , bridge N and P tterminals (from memory), earth M, and check for flashes with a proble light at another terminal as you turn the engine by hand.
Is this right ? I tried it with a conventional test light and it did not light up. Its supposed to light up 18 times per rev according to the manual. Do i need an LED light ? I replaced the CAS 2 weeks ago with a new one from Repco but code 47 still remains. Now i want to prove if the cas is working or not.
