Hi guys, trying to remove my rear control arm for bushing replacement and to fix a stripped lower shock bolt. How do you remove the brake lines from control arm and what sizes are the nuts on these as they dont seem to be metric or imperial sizing?

VT Service Manual just says "Disconnect brake pipes from brake hoses at trailing arm brackets and remove brake hose retaining clips. Plug ends of brake pipes to prevent fluid loss and foreign matter entry."

Looking at the diagram the nuts look to be similar to the ones connecting the brake lines to the master cylinder. Have the nuts been rounded by someone trying to remove them in the past?

They will be metric. However they may be rounded as mentioned above.
You can get pipe spanners to undo brake lines. They look like 3/4 of a ring spanner. Gives you more purchase and less chance of rounding the fitting.
Can use normal spanners if they aren't overtight. Or if they have been rounded an adjustable pipe wrench will work.
