Installing lights will not void your insurance. Just let your insurance company know you have installed them in the OEM position (Im guessing you want to install fog lights yeah??) and all will be fine. You may have the wiring loom already there if you look behind the front bar, ready for a plug and play solution. All you may have to do is buy the proper headlight switch with the fog light button.

so when wired like this theyll work with the high beams on only or with headlights separate to the high beams?

They will work when high beams are activated. This is the proper way to do it as a lot of places may ping you if they are separate to the hight beams (ie able to be activated when the high beams are not on)

How do you get the switch wire into the cabin???????

Have the switch neatly installed.........cant find any suitable places to thread the wire to!

i pushed mine through were the bonnet release cable goes through.....

i have followed yr instructions and it didnt work. spoties stay on then i turn lights off... any help u can give me would be great

The wires as per the diagram are what I used on a friends VZ not so long ago. Check to ensure you have not used other wires or inadvertantly cut / pulled out a connection from the plug.
