I have a hq tonner, and have put a red 308 in it, originally a 6 cyl. My problem is need to wire up my electronic coil and dizzy and i have found the original wires, I have traced it down to two wires, a yellow and a dark brown or almost black wire. Neither wire seems to put out 12 volts while cranking, both put out 0v. one has 6v on run the other has 12v. both have 0v on off. Hope this makes sense.

I also need a wire to run my pro-jection system that needs to have 12v on run and 12 v on crank, and cant find a wire that has 12 volts on both run and crank. Any info would be great.

its the only thing stopping me from firing her up!!! :bang::bang::bang:

The wire going to the starter solenoid is usually a purple wire and the yellow is usually going to positive on the coil and the brown is the indication light for the alternator
