Hi all I picked up front and rear HSV AP racing calipers to go on my VE SS. I have read on here the brembos need new bolts but can't find anything regarding the bolts for the AP Racing calipers. Do I need new bolts front and rear and if so are they the same as the brembo bolts.

Got a great deal $900 for front and rear calipers discs and pads so keen to get these on my car

Thanks

.. different bolts to std or factory Brembos

and I know you can buy the HSV front caliper bolts from your Holden dealer
( I got a set when I pulled the calipers off to replace the front rotors.. they are one use bolts)
rears..? no idea

All the caliper mount bolts are supposed to be 'single use', as they're "micro encapsulated".
Loctite also works...

i went to 1 Holden dealership and was told all HSV parts go through Zuppps mt gravatt holden dealership and was told they use the same bolts front and back.
Zupps wasn't going to sell me the bolts as i didn't have a HSV VIN but as i knew him he sold me 4 as that was all the stock in QLD.
he advised to either go to AP racing or an industrial bolt supplier to get them. bolts required are M12 x 1.5 x 45mm flared hex head high tensile 10.9 grade. these will need red loctite from what i could find online the Holden ve ss caliper bolts are same size and pitch but 5 mm shorter but have read a few sites online say that they still fit. part no is HSV 73A-100604
going to try to get the 4 for the rear tomorrow just in case.

I can confirm the bolts from as stock calipers defiantly are the same size as the bolts from HSV.

Fitted my new calipers today using the same bolts

So they are not single use bolts? You can re-use them? Or was there a special way to take them off and re-use

Loctite for the win!
