 What's with people putting HSV badges on commodores, and some people making new Badges up???? :s
If it's not the real Maccoy, why do people do it???? ^o)

I guess it's like people putting GT-R badges on their GTS Skylines, when they're ony running an RB25DE with nothing than a riced-up, wide body kit?
I'm confused :(

So that means it is like all the other skylines out there? :)

I don't like people doing it, but it is their car and their choice...who are we to persecute them..

My dad's VL V8 Calais, has some HDT badges on it. Is that alright? ;)

(Keeping in mind, that it's got alot of Brock stuff on it, but not a genuine one;) )

Anyway I don't really care, too be honest.

I prefer my XR8 for cruising, prefer the SS for fun. The SS is just a weekender now, gets driven perhaps once every fortnight...

I like both cars the same, to be able to own a Ford and a Holden in the same era is great.

Whats the point? Runs low 11's now, could crack into 10's almost, but again no point, then i have to cage it to take it to the track :)

The XR is here to stay, well at least until the new Ford comes out early 2008, maybe then i will buy something by FPV(providing it looks better than the VE which wont be hard)

VT SS wheels are too common on anything, go something different :)

Was only kidding matey!
Yeah, i knows couple of people who update every year from SS, to XR8, back and forth, and they reckon the XR's are a better car in the long run:(
But the SS is lighter on the pocket, and tows anything with its reliable torque. (not saying an xr cant tow.....)

Talking of towing, my mates dad has a VZ SS thunder (6.0Ltr) sport-kit etc.
His previous ride was a VY S - 3.6Ltr and it towed a Bobcat........with a staggering 19Litres to 100ks!!!!!!
His VZ now tows a new trailer (even heavier than the old) with the same 'Cat and it drinks an awesome 14.5Ltrs per 100!!!!
The SS does 8 ltrs on long drives @ an average 110km/ph.
Why do people boycott V8's for their massive bores and heavy drinking, when most are better (to a tradey) than the 6's.
