"HSV Enhanced Ecotec"

So I got a mate who's given me a VS (he's ripped the engine out of his old VS so there's no compliance plate) just an executive and he reckons the Ecotec in it is "HSV Enhanced" but I've done hours of research and by the looks of it they didn't even make one, if anyone has any knowledge on what they did to the non existent thing that'd be handy

If you want it to be like a HSV then drop in a V8. Standard V6 will take a mint to get it better than a HSV V8.

I've spent close to $3k on my V6 doing engine work and bolt on's and a stock V8 would smash it, just saying.
The above doesn't include any head work, or pistons.

I actually rang HSV and they couldn't be bothered to answer the call, so I left a message with my phone number and since then...................................crickets ?

and that was nearly a week ago. It's really great how they look after customers, but I'm sure if I left a message like this............"I've got over a hundred grand that I feel the need to part with" .........I'm sure they would've gotten straight back to me with bells on.

They've always been terrible to deal with, so nothings really changed has it ?
