I would like to do a HSV body kit conversion on the front and rear. I Know that the front will fit and the rear bumper will also fit if I buy headlights, I was just wondering if anyone knows about the wiring. Will the wiring for the HSV bumpers just be the same as the Vf commodore front and rear bumpers??? Can I Just plug and play??
Greatly appreciate any help

Not certain on the wiring, but just be prepared to have very little change out of $8k for the full conversion.

Piece of advice, whatever you do, DO NOT sell your stock bumpers.

When you sell the car, you will be able to sell the HSV bumpers on their own for far more than if you keep them on the car.

The loss you'll take keeping the HSV bumpers on the SV6 will be huge if you sell

In case you've not thought about it ... consider insurance.
You could understand why an insurer might consider something which looks like an HSV to be a higher risk, and hence do Really Horrible Things to your premiums (or refuse to pay should you not disclose the changes).
I'm not making any recommendations of any sort ... just consider it. :)

consider insurance.
Op @ 24, driving a HSV wannabe, what could go wrong :p:p:p

Probably a $5k (or more) insurance premium with a $2k excess  or insurance denied on a claim for crashing into a $200k Audi because they didn’t disclose the mods :eek::eek:

Really, your tempting that in the state that hates cars the most? Do you really want to hassle with having popping your bonnet every time a police car goes past just to prove you’re not actually breaking the rules?

^ missed the OP being on p-plates so my estimates are wrong… it will probably be that insurance companies won’t be interested in insuring the OP (so the premium will be even higher if offered)…

Save the hassles and the police state attention and just drive a clean well maintained car, and stop dressing up as Fangio would be my advice to the OP.

Lot of money for no gain The VF SV6 front is not ugly. Save your few $k and wait until you can buy a HSV. Prices of real HSV's are coming down. You can buy a VE HSV now for $35k or less. Another year or two you might find one at $30k.
