HSV Knock Sensor in VN

hey guys
i have just put a new motor in my car, this motor came with a HSV knock sensor and the computer it came with wasm out of an auto, as my car is a manual i couldnt use this computer, but i did use the chips out of the auto.
i have been told that now i have to get somthing done to my computer now to tell it that it was a knck sensor, is this true, or will the chips i put in the computer do this?

the computer is the same manual & auto
the chip will work in either as well
if its a HSV memcal it will have the knock sensor enabled
post up the code on the memcal & someone will identify it for you
chances are it will be just a std HSV one

The knock sensor kits creep up on freabay occasionally, many folks can give you a base HSV tune but your wasting your time, you can get a much better tune these days. Don't need the knock sensor either, they are good for piece of mind though
