Hi all after going past a holden/hsv dealer over the last couple of weeks I have noticed that the new Camaro and Silverado still have Chevy badges on them.

I think it’s a bit sh*t that AUS send a car over the US and they change everything that has a holden on it like they even change the dash to be the American SS badge but they send a car to us and it’s got to keep all the same badges.

Any way I guess we better get use to seeing the bowtie

Well they are a Chevy.
I couldn't drive a Camaro with a holden badge on it. It just isn't right.

They are selling them as a Chevrolet. Why would they change the badge?

I wouldn't expect a Camaro to have a Holden badge , even less a Silverado . It's plain wrong .

The badge represents what is it, I hate badge engineering.

Won't be long before all the yards are Chev dealers anyway so they are just ahead of the curve!

I didn’t realise they are being sold as Chevy camaro I thought it was a hsv camaro.
Wasn’t real saying I think that they should have a hsv badge on them just that it’s not going to be long and all we well see is Chevy bowties.

I reckon the Camaro is always recognised as "Chevrolet Camaro" anyway. Holden or HSV Camaro just sounds wrong. Just like Chevrolet Monaro or Chevrolet Commodore would have sounded wrong to us for the export cars.
