Hey guys,

Just recently acquired some VE HSV pedals and was wondering if it is an easy install or not? It's not a covering change or anything its the complete accelerator and brake unit (auto). Had a quick look on the search but only came up with VZ threads so was wondering if anyone could shed some light maybe post a few pics if possible?

Cheers.

with accelerator there is only 3 bolts holding it and wiring plug connected...

easiest to replace it complete,....

unsure about brake pedal....i'd assume it removable rubber that 'slips' on

I'm glad you pointed that out... what I want to know is once i remove the old pedals is there any sort of linkages and or cabling I need to be aware of when I do the swap over so once everything is installed it still works :) As I said anyone who has prior experience could I have your input.

with accelerator it's straight forward... 3 bolts and wiring plug....

with brake pedal...it should be straight forward as well...

if unsure what you're doing (and it sounds like it) leave it to someone that does....

last thing you wanna mess with is accel and brake pedal if your mechanical skills aren't very good !

I'm always up for D I Y but have never done this process before which is why I'm asking the good people of this forum for advice I'm not clueless just want the applicable info before I start anything. And if its a wiring cable that I need to be looking for then that's all the info that was needed to be mentioned :)

Thank You.

Looking at the part that you planning to swap is normally a good start to work out what's involved... :)

Seeing how I only posted this thread last night and would be looking at what I'm up against today thought I would ask the question as how but have realized the informative people have gone to bed so best let those people answer my question instead the attempt you have given :)

No problem
Thought it was reasonable to assume that you'd look at parts first before you assume that you need help with it and then be smart about people giving you any type of advice
