Thinking about it, it should be fairly easy to swap them. There shouldn't be anything that is not bolt off, bolt on that can't be swapped easy enough.

VS Acclaim V6
looking at the v6 vs hsv 4 pot calipers, they may use the same mounting points, but best if you stick your head under the rears to see if yours has an adaptor bracket between the hub mounts and the caliper.

you can always ask to loan (deposit) a rear wheel to take home, remove the caliper and then try the wheel to see how it fits on the hub and in relation to everything else.

this situation is very rare what you're asking but many have upgraded brake calipers so the reversal shouldnt be too hard. heres an upgrade kit: https://clutchdirect.com.au/products/holden-commodore-2008-2017-ve-vf-stolz-fex-rear-big-brake-kit which includes adaptors, so you should already have them. remove that and getting v6 calipers should work, but YMMV

Why don't you knock on a tyre stores front door and get them to order the correct wheels for you.

Before you buy them, they should fit the wheels, minus tyres to the car, for clearance issues...If they don't, they're the idiots stuck with them, not you

You don't have to pay for wheels that don't clear and aren't what you want....

Or are you wanting to buy over the net and cross everything that everything goes smoothly?

Hi All.
I am wanting to put Deep Dish Rims on my VE HSV R8 Clubsport, As we all know this cannot be done with the big brakes.
Has anyone down graded their rear Rotors and Calipers to smaller ones
So you can put Deep Dish Rims on the Back.
There must be a way to do this,
without spending a **** tone of money. EG using Standard Commodore system.
Any help would be very much appreciated, this is doing my head in.
Edit; My question is about modifying Rear Brakes, Not what style of rim or size or offset. ITS ABOUT CHANGING REAR HSV BRAKES TO STANDARD VE COMMODORE, IF ANY HAS DONE THIS PLEASE HELP. ANY HSV OWNER WILL UNDERSTAND WHY I WANT TO DO THIS.
Converting the ap racing set-up to the standard V8 rear brakes is as easy as doing the reverse. If you want a standard set up with new in box rotors, let me know.
