so what do you do when your VS SS catches fire and you need another daily??

Buy another VS Senator :D

95 VS SI 185 Senator
Build 126
Alaskan White

Higher K car, and had a little more 'action' in its life than my 97

But more than up to task as my new daily.

Sen Sigs were rescued from the SS so once they have been tidied up they will go on. Lousy aftermarket CD player is in need of an upgrade. The S1 feels a little welfare in the sound department compared to the S2.

Leaking return fuel line. Took insurance investigators hours to work it out.

Pretty common problem with the 304's.

Sen looks great!

Thanks, insurance were a little concerned that I have 2 more :p asked me if they had been checked.

Someone mentioned might have been a recall at some time, but my point was even if that was the case, they are getting on now, and fuel lines, hoses etc are going to perish no matter what. Its just about catching it before something bad happens like in this case. I had the car 5 months, and hadnt noticed a leak at all. Being a return line, theory is that because I drove it and parked at work for hours, then drove home and parked overnight, the fuel if it was leaking was evaporating before it had a source of ignition.

Then I let my mum was drive it (never a good idea) and she had just pulled into servo for a coffee, the quick off then on again provided the perfect chance for this to happen. fresh fuel and a hot exhaust. Lucky it was a servo, they put it out super quick, and minimised the damage.
