Hey guys, a bit of a newbie on the forums, I have purchased a 2001 VX Senator with 2.5inch Catback, want to open up the exhaust a little more with a budget of $1200.

Got quoted on ceremic coated hurricane headers with 3inch cat for $1200 installed

all would i be beter off getting the Headers and a Cold air intake of sorts minus the high flow cat??

    Thanks guys!

VX Clubsports already have twin cats. If you have a 2.5" cat back exhaust you would be better off spending your money on a CAI and tune if you are after more performance.

But if the cats are stock 2 1/4 they will be holding it back sum, though your right $ for $ the CAI and tune first will net better results for the same money.

    pacemaker 2.5inch, 200 cell cats $300 ea x2 =$600.00.

mail order tune as little as $250.
    CAI starting from around $300.
