Why don't you get it diagnosed by a pro before jumping to conclusions ?

Buy the cheapest diff you can get for like $100 and see if it fixes it if you don't want to pay a shop. They're cheap af.

If you're paying to fit you may as well pay for the advice. My advice would only be logical if you do it yourself.
