my vz as I bought it, changing the front bumper to ss style as I hate the clubsport kits, look abit riceburner to me, keeping the bonnet though, and have got a chevy grill to add aswell.
I don't like the rims at all coz there chrome so may get some other holden type or do the cheap and paint them either silver, grey or black.

also will do engine mods later

let me know what you guys think

thanks guys honesty is good, just reminding you though that I bought it like this and I wanted it coz it was a Calais. Will be getting my new sv6 bumper on Thursday which I'm excited about, i may end up changing the bonnet to.
But first things first, the decals must go

I'm trying to go for a classy/sporty clean look
Any suggestions welcome as you Aussies really know how to do up a Holden

Try to get it back to original if possible. The lower if you like with a set of wheels.

VZ Calais were a good looking car from factory apart from wheels IMO.

Take it back to an original VZ Calais with a Calais hood, front bar

They look so tuff with just the calais kit, Lowered and on a nice set of rims, Pentagons, E3's ect

    just my 2 cents

    NOOOOOOOO

If you remove the calais lettering it will look like a tarted up executive with a half calais half SS kit

Keep Calais badges and the Holden Badges
and i still think calais front bar and calais hood = WIN

    Toughest VZ Calais around IMO

Im pre sure its a S2 Calais front bar as the S1 and S2 Front bars were different. IIRC

But then again, Its your car so do what you want :)

Nay's on the money with mods. Change it back to a Calais, so no chev or hsv badge, Calais front bumper, lower and nice wheels. That's pretty much it for looks I reckon. But as it was said, it's your car.

DAAMM!! that black Calais is mint, I bet there isnst a Calais in the country (NZ) that looks as good as that

yea the Calais front bumper is pretty mean, but its abit late now I guess but may change the bumper in the future once Ive done evrything, as for the chevy badge, there quite uncommon here in nz and ive noticed a few people doing double takes already and ive only had it on for a day.

however you've convinced me on those ssv rims, I have to get me a set, I was going to settle for some vy ss rims or the ve sv6 but the ssv's are the go but might take a while till I get some though.

After seeing a nicely done calais you realise how nice they really are with minimal exterior mods

Definetly take the hsv badge off and get a holden grill + badges

The ve ss rims just arnt big enough on the vy vz shape imo. 19s and 20s look the best especially when lowered.

Got painted cost me approx $150 AUS dollar, it shows how much the bonnet doesn't suit now

Hsv badge staying on the bonnet coz I'm selling the bonnet with it on

Going to paint the rims silver as the chrome is coming off,
