when in the car and you have the music low or off i can hear like a slight high pitched humming noise that sounds like its from under the seats.
it makes the noise my fuel pump made in my vn wagon when i used to turn it on but its constant.

Maybe it is the fuel pump - try running the engine and have an assistant pull the fuel pump fuse and see if the hum stops immediately the fuse is pulled.

If it is your fuel pump making the noise it may be due to one of the pipes fouling with the body which can make it sound loud. It normally will make a noise but usually only a barely audible hum. The can get noisy when on their last legs. Mine got noisy about a year ago for a few days and then went back to normal but maybe I was lucky....hope yours is the same. When they fail it is usually when trying to start the car - you can get them going again (temporarily) by thumping the bottom of the tank to jolt the pump. Good Luck.
