I got a white sedan sv6. Ye, talk to him, he will help you out. If you tell him about me about the xforce that was rusted he will remember me straight away :)

and on the Perry exhaust he has tuned it so you cant hear the noise much at low revs and when you dont put your foot down, so its good when others are in the car and sitting at the back. But in a ute it wouldn't be much of a problem i guess :)
and no drone at all :)

You can also pick up just the Perry rears that will bolt straight up to stock. Same brand as Walkenshaw use. I get the impression that the Hurricane units are of better build quality than the xforce and will not be as raspy. Could also try Berklee/Pex as suggest by Jarp in the other thread, though from memory they're one of the less freely flowing units - do sound good though. Flow with a 6 isn't a huge issue, so just go for sound, unless you're planning FI.

If I'm honest, I haven't really paid a lot of attention to the sound of V6s with different set ups - The hurricane one sounded good - but that's just me. Just have a listen to a few different ones and see what you like.

you can also tune the exhaust system to make it sound a bit differently. it costs like $150 extra i think.

exhausts are 'tuned' by either a different series of mid/rear mufflers - or slightly altering the pipe length - I'd be guessing though by offering a tuning service with a set price it would be a selection of mufflers/resonators - kind of like the difference between the xforce quiet/medium/loud options.
