    Hey all,

I haven't had to use the heater on my car for a while, so I hadn't noticed anything wrong. But the other day I had too turn the heater on, was freezing! So, I turned the knob from cold round to warm, but it got stuck half way. With my short patience, I forced it all the way round snapping something..

It turns out that the steel rod wasn't in the white thing properly. It's snapped the white thinkging right off. I went to the wreckers but noone knows what I was talking about. I can't find any of the little white things anywhere. So if anyone has one, maybe off a wrecked car or something, please let me know. Otherwise I can't use my heater!.

    Cheers,

    Sam

may you should have mentionted this to me like amonth ago and i could have sent you one!

You need to go to a pick-a-part style wreckers armed with a phillips head screw driver and take the 5 mins to take what you need.

You can pocket it for nothing or be honest and pay what they want, id imagine not much, maybe a dollar.

It one screw and thats it.

im going to my wreckers next week end and if you still need it then ill grab you one.

    aZk.

Ah ok thanks heaps mate. I pulled the broken one off today. I might head down to Jolly's if I get time. But if not, that'd be great if you could grab me one. Where abouts are you from?

Aah, the stupid white thing strikes again! At least when the heater in a VN stops working it's usually really cheap to fix!! Mine didn't work for 2 years, the threaded rod had just popped out of the white thing. Clipped it back in and was really angry with myself for not working it out sooner!
