Are these silicon based products?
I have posted YouTube links to these products demonstrated by reputable detailers.

SiO2 is the ceramic component

There is a degree of silicone involved but in a different molecular arrangement making it a different beast to the old Si based products we used to see.

These are a great, easy to use & affordable alternative to true ceramic sealants and are farrr superior to waxes.

There is now the newer graphene products by Turtle wax. “One and Done” is what I want to get my mittens on. Not available in Australia yet.

Both the graphene and hybrid ceramic use platlets in the polished and compounds, rather than micro granules as has always been the way. The flat platelets shear across the paint resulting in far superior finishes than when microscopic granulated are used. They grind into and across the paint. Nothing wrong with that. It’s worked for skilled detailers since forever. Nice seeing things progress.
