I've just removed and inspected my hydraulic lifters, now need to bleed them and leak test 'em. Does anyone know of a place that can do the test in Northern Beaches area? Will holden dealer service and parts section be able to do it? If so does anyone know of a price it will cost to have 'em done? Thanks.

no one seems to know anything about hydraulic lifters, so i'll ask the manual says it's needs to be filled with test fluid "Kent More #???" Forgot the rest of it. Can i subsitute this fluid for something like pwr steering fluid or something readly avaliable? Is it possiable to bleed them at home and not do the test without the device?

if they are bad enough to need inspection i'd change them. if fitting a new camshaft you need new lifter as well. if reconditioning the engine fit a new camshaft.
