Door glass to go. Photos soon :)

Wtf. How did I miss this thread! I've got something to read through tomorrow! Schweet. Look forward to reading the thread and watching it evolve mate. I really liked that photo of you and your dad. My father likes to do the same. Comes out to the shed, parks himself fair in the middle of everything and just talks. I rarely know what its about, usually memories. But he likes it and it makes him feel useful and even though he is a pain in the arse to work around and I have no clue what he is muttering about or which one of his brothers he thinks I am.... I always appreciate the company.

In one pic that paint looks like glass. Perfect. Something to be very proud off, no way I would have the patience to do that sort of work.

not tooooo bad for a boilermaker/welder lol The roof still has issues after my brother attacked it one day with a 60 grit belt sander! It has been suggested he even washes his Holden's with a buzz saw!

Doing good quality welds is an art form in itself. Nothing more satisfying than laying down a nice bead in molten metal :)

It's the reason I still enjoy using that dinosaur known as the arc welder.

I too have only just stumbled upon this build. Look forward to reading it when I can. The pics ive seen so far look amazing youve done a brilliant job.

Love the old kingys. Had a tonner sitting under a tarp for almost 8yrs now but am too scared to attempt the bodywork myself. Mechanical no worries, paint though would prob come out looking like the local train station walls.

Absolutely love the tray with the built in box. Cant wait to read.

A little update on this before I skip country :)

The back tray floor is done, tool box fitted, electric mirrors fitted and has had a run on the road around town (yes car is registered) sounds awesome with sports system on it.

Just got door handles last Friday so door trims can go on. then a few minor dash things to finish and she is a goer :)

As soon as I get finished photos I will put them up on here... It has taken a while - but will be a strong very useable tonner!!
