This is the floor 99% completed - but for the cover plate over the sellecter rod. Now for the front cowling - dash out time.

Some more progress photos on the HZ project

Weight reduction on the front cowling has been 100% successful. (not much left)

Progress has been made with battery and fuel tank - and the wiring loom is almost done - all connected - just not running yet.

Front suspension is all back in, Brakes all done, all rust removed, front cowl back in, all floors welded, front seats mounted.

To do list: fit tank pump and sender unit, run cables to rear mount battery and final wire check so we can start the beast.

The HZ fired up today and ran for a little. Very loud with no mufflers :)

Central locking fitted
Start button working
Fuel tank fitted
gear sellecter fitted
Console modified - half done.

The HZ moved under it's own steam this week. Became a low RPM trench digger up the driveway. :)

The twin system sound is to die for (I want one now two)

All the wiring is completed, except for the reverse camera setup. All body panels fitted and primed. Colour gets ordered this month. The rear flat tray is on the design table now for tool boxes and storage so as to keep it flat (not much room left tho after the tank went in).

Centre console idea canned - it failed to fit with anything left of it.

Under the floor is mostly welded up now - 3 hours of over head welding to rusty floor pan. Talk about spatter every where. Had to put the shirt out a few times as it started to smolder LOL.

The spare wheel winder now has a locater tube so when you slide the winder in it slots right home first time.

Mag wheels have been selected rated for a 1 tonner. Nothing special at all - but they will do the job nicely.

feels like ages since we saw any pics :(

I've requested my brother send me some of it up in the air - the slim line cats are sexy as in stainless steel
