Haha, sorry mate, but I just can't bring myself to like 1 tonners. To me they're a work horse and nothing else. I'm trying to be constructive though.

im kinda with you too, think the tonner is a the lazy way out of body work. its almost like buying half a project car.... but each to their own, if it dosent end up with some gay pride color should look ok when its done....

Its got HQ tags with it, but the cowl looks the same as the one on the HZ.
cant really tell the overall condition of the cab from the photos. The chassis has been powdercoated though.
No suspension, axle etc. It was less than $400 so will see when I get it home.
I did fubar my geographic locations though. Thought it was only a 1hr drive away....

i hate to say it, but i agree with BV6. although im all for making it mint, at the end of the day a tonner is for work. if you make it too nice you ruin its purpose. like taking your favorite ratchet set, spraying it a mint triple layer blue on blue on blue and then never using it cos' it looks too good.

OE they all had a HQ style cowl on it which means it has either been changed at some stage or has a lot of bog in that area.

But i had considered an almost gunmetal colour. And then i considered Black, and then i went to Blue. So...yeah.
Black and chrome, with an LS1 will get you home .
