Soooo...i missed my SS :(

This came up for very cheap, obviously i knew it would have it's issues but I couldn't say no.

A few of you know i had a worked VN SS and about 6 months ago i was involved in a 5 car pile up on a major HWY in perth which destroyed my car. I've been sensible for the last 6 months bought a brand new get around that I won't have any problems with and then I stumbled on this, we drove for about 2 hours to go there get it, pick up a cheap s pack bumper and come back I got pretty badly sunburnt on my left hand side as I cbfed driving but here she is, appologies i didn't take pictures earlier i couldn't hold myself back from pulling it apart.

anyway details on the car

Year: 1989
Model: Calais
Colour: White
Engine: V6 3.8 Buick
Transmission: TH700
Extras: Fibreglass front SV5000 bar, SS sideskirts.

Some Rust i found behind the rear door. from what i believe water is running through the quarter window and into the door gap.

Boot floor needs some work, I still have the SS shell here so i will cut some panels out of that to fix this up.

also she's had a tap in the bum, this will get straightened out and i will weld a new reinforcement in.

I said the same thing when I tried to get it on the car trailer with a flat tyre on grass....but it got home in the end.

Sure am, haven't exactly decided on what yet. going to focus on getting the body up to scratch and sorting out the interior before I tackle what I want drive line wise but I can assure you it will not be a V6 haha

So...this was short lived. sold this, bought a VR HSV statesman which has it's own build thread, admins can get rid of this or lock it or whatever they want :)
