DONT USE CURCUIT WIRE!!! haha i know you guys would have more common sense than me, but... lastnight when ephect asked for error codes i was running around tryin to find a bit of wire to use....anyhow.
as i turned the ignition to check for the codes the headlights, blinkers, and all the dash lights flashed about 3 times, then the blinkers kept flashing, then stayed on until i pressed the keypad to lock the car.
i thought...."hmmm, that was odd" and carried on to check the codes by getting a thicker peice of wire.
i went to crank it over this morning... Fuel Pump Primed, everything seemed normal....BUT...it was like the Nub on the key wasnt contacting the silver ring of the ignition. (or like the battery was dead).
anyway instantly i thought oh ****.....so i whacked the other computer i had in....and "hey presto!!"...she fired up straight away..
moral of the story:
USE A PAPER CLIP OR WIRE OF SIMILAR SIZE!!!
unless you have enough ECU's sitting around. lol..

P.S I STILL CANT GET THE OLD ECU OUT OF THE HOLDER!!!!
