I have a hard time connecting to site

This is on Firefox, all i did was click the Chat at the top of the screen and that's the default window that i see.

Not even sure how to go into private chat....feeling really old and un-tech-savvy right about now.

I cant find chat. I know l've seen it, but don't know where l saw it, & cant find it now.

I'm using opera web browser.

Neither. I just get a messsage that says "You havent joined any rooms"

lol I was thinking them but realised they wouldn't have the brains.

I can see some messages appearing at the bottom but no rooms to join.

And when I click on the disable chat slider it says I don't have the correct permissions for whichever way I slide it.

It has the "You haven't joined any rooms" option and the rest of the chat stuff seems blanked out as though it is locked.
I think at one stage it said I had joined the room but that was it.

And as I type this it now has the "has joined the room" with a 1minute ago. Down the bottom of the page
But upon clicking it to open the chatbox it is still blank.
clicking the disable chat comes up with a permissions error message.
Wonder if its really delayed or locked behind some settings.
