how can i stop the iac valve from blocking up,i clean it and it lasts for two weeks then gums up again,any sugestions
Two wild guesses: I am totally unfamiliar with this problem but I'd assume that it blocks up because of crankcase blowby fumes carrying oil /crap thru the engine breather hose to where it goes into the inlet manifold. Due to worn engine with excessive blowby. Or it could be coming from an over-oiled K&N air filter.
Over oil K&N filter is probably the go, i ent a bit too hard core with the oil .. LOL .. Make sure everything is vacuumed up and no leakage i guess.
