Purely why it was only intended as a Joke.

When this happened on my VR, i just put my Steel cap boots on, stretched right out and gave it a few good kicks from behind and that seems to do the trick :)

I got the wheel off.
The bottle jacks were too big but a scissor jack did the trick.
Took about an hour of winding the jack it in and out and moving the wheel to many different positions.
I am not real sure the wheel is that round anymore, and will be ditching these crappy aluminium wheels for something not so old and heavy.

Mine was stuck, just get it off the ground using a jack, chock other 3 wheels and keep pulling top then bottom and kick left then right top then bottom and it will eventually work itself loose. When you go to put the new wheel on use some WD40 and emery cloth for the shaft so that its a smoother fit next time you need to get it off.
