    Hi i was hoping someone could help me identify an ecu.
    im pretty sure its from a RB30.

    Literally 10 seconds of Googling gave me this - ECU ID HELP

    Well, this is the VL section and you asked about the rb30 ecu's and the numbers for autos and manuals. So I thought it was quite relevant.

    Tried putting the numbers into Google?

    yeah ive tried several times, had no luck getting a identification RE: auto/manual.

    maybe you should try googling again and learn how to read thats from a 31 skyline not a vl commodore

    Maybe you should have read that the last reply to this thread was 3 years ago. And maybe you should also look at the ECU in the picture that has a giant Nissan logo on it.

    As far as I can tell the VL ECUs don't have any logo on them. Regardless, the link I posted matches the part number exactly (and says what the ECU is for) so one would assume that it's from Nissan anyway, not that it really matters if it's from a VL or an R31, would wager that it would still work in either.
