The VS idler tensioner pulley has a 'left-hand' thread (clockwise to undo), but what about the idler pulleys? I don't want to strip threads (like a mechanic did on the idler tensioner pulley!). None of the forums seems to mention the thread direction for the idler pulleys. It seems like they should also be opposite to normal, like the tensioner pulley (that is, clockwise to loosen). Thanks to anyone who knows for sure.

The other idler pulleys are 'normal' threaded - turn anti-clockwise to undo.
The reason for the LH bolt (tensioner only) is so that you can put a spanner on the tensioner pulley to remove tension from the belt to remove the belt (otherwise it would undo) This is not necessary on the other pulleys. The bean counters also come into play - a LH threaded bolt cost more than a garden variety RH bolt which would be why they are not on all pulleys.
Good Luck.
