especially if you run a k and n,they can draw oil onto the maf sensor.

Not true, at all. The oil is on the underside (facing airbox base) and cannot permeate through the top or get anywhere near the MAF sensor.
Yes, I use both a K&N airfilter and a K&N cabin pollen filter.

Wrong,oil is on both sides of a k and n filter,come from the k and n factory that way,ive purchased at least ten,all were oiled both sides.
When its not oiled the cloth is almost white/grey,the oil is pink.
Unless you fully clean it and then only oil the underside(which i do) does it only have oil on one side.
