Ignition, Dizzy and Timing Control

Need some advice as I am not 100% sure on what's best...I am looking for Electronic ignition, dizzy and being able to lock/control the timing. Essentially I want to remove the ability for the dizzy to move slightly, etc and throw the timing out. Plus it removes the issue of the timing nut which is in a crap spot.

So questions are:
* Is this possible
* What products do I need to do this

If it's not 100% possible that is fine. I have a MSD 6A in my VK at the moment, but the timing goes in and out all the time which causes no end but grief (I bought it this way, so working my way through replacing/fixing everything).

so many wtf's in this post....

why does your dizzy move? the bolt IS in a crap spot, but it doesnt need to be tight. it just pretty much needs to be there. there is zero force on the dizzy to move it unless your bearings are shagged.

wtf you mean "the timing goes in and out??"

you know its supposed to advance and retard, right?

a bit more engine specs wouldn't go astray?? vac or mech advance ect ect!!

Get the MSD 6AL-2 programmable ignition and the pro-billet distributor. That will have to be the most flexible ignition available atm. You can program the timing yourself on ya lappy. Itl make you a happy chappy.

a fella down the road from my house had one on his dodge. was a mint car with a dodge big block (cant remember the cubes) i went and introduced myself so i could perve on his auto porn and nearly fell over as i watched him mess with his timing settings in his driveway. great 1st impression "hi im ari... wtf??? how are you doing that???" at the time i just had a 6AL on my 308 and spent months trying to get the advance curve right, he changed his curve in 2 mins :s

annnyway, back to the topic.

Haha yea its pretty trick. You have to do a double take seeing a laptop plugged into a carb fed car lol

If the timing is moving when your car is idling, you could have a broken or stretched spring on one of the mechanical advance weights in your distributor.
