your 'mechanic' needs to stfu. he's taking you for a ride if he thinks that more cam lift = no more power.

alright so that mechanic is full of ####'e.

Would I be better of going for a larger cam instead? Supposabley the labor of gettign it done is an absolute money killer? Would gains be better than doing what was mentioned above?

yes you will get alot more gains for a cam. but alot more then $800 to be installed.. plus you would need a full exhaust for a cam

Whole exhaust system and extractors has been redone :)

yeah cams look like they could cost almost 2 grand then after purchase and getting them fitted :/

I might just ignore the cam, the 'leads' lol and just buy what bolt on stuff mace has to offer within my price range. I am a hopeless bastard at DIY work though :/

Thank you so much everyone for all the help!!

I will spend my money on spacers and rockers then.
Might do some research on if that throttle body and insulator things from MACE are worth it too and also what roller rockers are better.

In all honesty I found the throttle body a waste of time, all it did was "appear" to make more power because 1/4 throttle was now 1/3 throttle and so on. These little ecotecs can only suck so much.
Stay away from the 70mm Air flow meters too.

Sweet happy to know! So you'd recommend the rollers and plenum spacer only then? Got any idea on what size rollerswould be better and more punchy?
