I don't mind it actually. The wheels aren't so dark that you lose the detail. It's a 'stealth' look for sure, but more interesting than black on black.

go for powder coat if you can. Easier to maintain as the surface is harder. Cheaper too, I think, depending how much prep needs to be done.

I once saw a black on black Clubby R8 cruise past me on the motorway. Windows tinted and even the badges looked like they had been blacked out The only bit of colour were the calipers.

I swear I was half expecting to see Batman behind the steering wheel.
