I run a series I VS. It's been a good car, but last few days it will not crank.
I turn the key in the ignition, battery, engine and oil light comes on and it won't crank.
I then lock and unlock with the remote and quickly put the key in the ignition, then it starts, and the lights
go away.
Done the bridge pin thing and no problems there.
A bloke said to me with all the rain thats been around, moisture may have got into the immobilizer...

Any ideas???

If you have to press the button on the key, then check to make sure the contact ring on the ignition is contacting the key properly.

Thanks, you just made me realise that half of the contact ring is missing... So that could be the problem?
