Importing VE commodore from Aussie to NZ

Hi guys,

I live in New Zealand, wanting to purchase a manual Series II commodore from Aussie and have it shipped to NZ. I've found a freight company to pick up and delivery the car to me when I find one but the problem is I'm having trouble getting in contact with sellers on Carsales and Gumtree. I've asked questions on a few auctions but never seem to get any responses.

Has anyone here imported a VE commodore and have recommendations for how to go about contacting and processing the sale / change of ownership. Also if anyone is actually selling a SV6 manual Series II commodore for under $9k, let me know.

Generally the international thing rings alarm bells for sellers as typically when people say that, it's a scam. I think sellers would just put it in the too hard basket generally too.

Is there a shortage of VEs in NZ?
