Hi all

I have a 3.0 International and thanks to advice from this forum have had King super lows and Monroe struts installed. I am very happy with the change, particularly highway cruising.

I am now looking at improving cornering a little more and am really confused with the advice I have received. I only want a bit of improvement and want to spend sub $500.

My thoughts - Rear sway bar.

Cousin - Leave sway bars, change swaybar bushes to urethane.

Pedders guy - Change swaybar bushes and cradle bushes. (No doubt will upsell me as I go).

Advance Suspension guy - Changing just swaybar bushes waste of time. Changing cradle bushes will only help straight line. Leave rear as is. Change front sway bar and front strut braces. (getting expensive)

What to do ....

I'd believe the "Advance Suspension Guy".

Are you trying to reduce body roll or tyre scrubbing/understeer?

Do front and rear sway bars. Make sure they're the same size front and rear. Lots of people go bigger on the front to keep the original balance. Totally pointless venture.

Replace all the bushes and get some good tyres.

Whole lot should cost less the $1000, thats working off $200 a sway from whiteline.
Strut braces are 98% wank.

So how many of you guys have changed the sway bars and bushes? Didn't think it was a worthwhile upgrade unless you were doing a lot of track days and racing etc? Also, is it better to get the adjustable ones? Bloody hell..this myabe another updgrade to put on my list :)

Swaybars + Bushes will be the best upgrade you can do for it.
My VT has adjustable swaybars front and rear and they were only $340ea to be supplied and installed!
