incorrect badging of cars.....

Its personal choice, just like saying why put 18z on a commodore it looks crap. Theres my rant haha

The difference is that by putting 18s on your commodore, you're not pretending it's something it's not. By badging a Holden as a Chev, you're stating that because both companies are under the same parent company, and both use a GM engine, it's something different.

Well i think they look good, not pretending its something its not. Its not like i go round saying come check out my chevy engine. If holden made a different grill with ls1 or something id prob go for that.

haven't had a chance to get a photo yet but there's a maroon ford fairmont going around my area with massive mercedes badges front and rear, the ford badge is also still on the front of the car as well though (merc badge is in the replaced grill)

Might be just me, don't get me wrong there are some awesome cars out there but why the hell put a chev badge on a vn or anything Pre VE. and a crap car what ever model with new flash rims looks retarded imo. :thumbsup::thumbsup:

Why is the Chev badge ok on VEs, and no pre VEs? Holden have been exporting their product as chevs for years (back to at least the VT days), not that it should matter, they were all owned by GM.
