Hey jafo you sure because my series I berlina has clear indicators (see pic), do the models and not the series determine the indicator colour?

BTW: Car looks different now that the holden and berlina badges have been removed, and new exhaust and springs are coming soon!!

VS Acclaim Series II
ok to clarify
VR Series I & II = Square Orange Indicators
VS Series I = Square Orange Indicators
VS Series II = Round Orange Indicators
VT Series I = Round Orange Indicators
VT Series II = Round Clear Indicators

I've come to the conclusion that the model of the car determines the colour, i.e above exec will have clear indicators, I think its the same for VR/VS/VT well thats the theory im sticking with unless there is any other suggestions.

VS II Exec 1997
Acclaims had clear rear indicator lights on VS, as did some Berlina's (though I strain the word 'Clear', they're actually a bit grey lookin to me).
All Series I VT's have orange rear and side indicator lights, except Calais which had clear all 'round.

The only exception to the rules are when someones done a mod and put in their preferred colour.

Side indicator lights are rectangular on VR Ser I & II plus most VS Ser I's, then VS Ser II has oval through to VT's, VS Ser III Utes had clear oval matching the VT Ser II's. You can tell if a VR or VS has had side indicators changed... look close and you will see faint paint lines where the original lights were.

I think the clear oval side indicators look great on a VS. Just have to find some for my baby now.

94 VR EXEC
my 94 vr Series II exec has orange

as for the side indicators tehy were sqaure and orange
but i went to my local holden dealer and got a set of the clear oval ones
i like them better.
just pop the sqaure ones out and push the oval ones in simple as that
and there are no signs that i have changed them unless you know that my car is a vr
no fade makes WOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
