Hi all, I just have a quick question. Just the other day while driving around I noticed that my indicator isn't automatically turning off after I straighten the steering wheel after going round a corner. And I can't hear that click sound that it makes while you are turning.

So the question is: Do I need to only replace the indicator stalk or is there a piece in the steering wheel that will need fixing?

    Cheers all,
    -Adrian

Sounds like your flasher relay mate, if its not making that "tick, tick" sound.

Though could be your stalk, I would replace the flasher relay first though.

It's making the tick, tick sound of the indicator blinking. I mean its not making the click sound as you rotate the steering wheel.

But I was driving to work and back today and sometimes it turned off and sometimes it didn't :bang:, annoying me a bit.

I think it most likely the stalk that is the problem.

For a replacement stalk go to Repco or similar place.
ask for part number: NBS75b (with cruise control)
    or: NBS74 (no cruise control)
Made by 'Nice' Products. the part probably wont be in stock but it takes about a week to order in, should be a lot cheeper than GM parts

I just installed the new one into my VT. went in relativly easy- plug and play:)
