just put clear guard indicators on my car, but i want to know, by law do you have to have orange flashing indicators?

Yes, they need to be orange, at least in NSW they do.

In WA too they have to be orange too.

I think you'll find the ADR's state that any indicator has to illuminate amber and visiable from a certain distance away.

The ADR's cover all states and territories of Australia.

It'd be for all states as it's an ADR.
