Thank you 2 all i have got my answer Tinsnips very well put i understand now its not that i disparately want more noise exhaust is enough but was more curious and just thought the less air travelled the better (noise wise) again thx everyone first day of the year and 1st fact in my memory bank :)

It is better if you want the mechanical noise of the valve train through the intake. But with the LSx manifold design you wont get that.

yeah thats one thing i noticed soop people with custom head work get f all intake noise at partial throttle and thats it~!
as for the symphony out the back i like that idea!~
