Infotainment upgrades / 3rd party firmware update ?

I couldnt find anything in Google, however can apps be added ? What about 3rd party firmware updates ? Generally these types of systems in some way or another can be hacked but not sure if any guru's out there have done it ?

Short answer no , not without invalidating your warranty.There are still no map upgrades for the VF, after 18 months since I purchased my VF.
There is an firmware update for the MyLink -speak to your dealer. Sitting in Muirs Ashfield Parramatta Road typing this.
