im putting injector cleaner in my vz v6 ute soon...as soon as i fill up me tank im stickin it in

anyone know of a good kind. And also i herd its better to put the highest octane fuel in with it. Is this tha case of is normal fuel alright.

i went to repco and got a twin pack of valvoline..advertised for 15 bux...but scanned at 7 bux..so i got 2 for 7 bux..valvoline or nulon i reckon will be best...im pretty sure the higher the octane number is just better against pre detonation..im gunna run my ute on 95 incase anything funny wants to happen incase i use a lower octane fuel...

Should be called wallet cleaner not injector cleaner.

haha wallet cleaner..not sure on economy dude..haven't had the ute for that long and i don't drive it that much koz im only on my l plates...compared to a vy acclaim which i have driven for a while, i'd say its about the same if not better economy..so whatever the economy is meant to be is pretty much what it is...i do have a K&N filter and 2 hole mod though..so not sure if that helps at all..i doubt it'd be very much haha

I occasionally chuck in some Wynns or something, I'm not chasing economy or the "expected" power increase because IMHO you need an off car injector cleaner if any of that's going to be true (in order to actually 'clean' the injector) and I'm undecided if the liquid stuff works or not. They all claim they do, and it just mixes with the petrol so it cant do that much harm I guess.

Better to put a couple of tanks of 98 octane through the system and then every 3rd or 4th fill. Will keep the fuel system clean and without any unknown added chemicals that you might find in 'additives' etc. Works for me and any cost difference is negligible.
