Injector clip

I gotta get the clip off and put it on the new injector I bet Holden have a special tool to do it

How would u go about it gently...see pics...

(I haven't attempted it yet but it's on tight)

I would say it should just slide off,
give it a spray with WD40,
and see if you can wiggle off from side to side with a pair of pliers with a piece of cloth in between the jaws..

You can get the removal tool from Supercheap doesn't cost much coin from memory.

You mean like one of these type of tools

The jacket bracket that holds the injector onto the rail probs needs one of these to widen it a part

I'll probably clamp the clip in a vice then lever the injector away even to pop it out

Also my injector holes are all open on the engine whilst the rail is off, what should I block them all up with

(Injured at the moment can't install injectors until am better/mobile)

Lay a cloth or something over them,
and press it down to cover the area in question.
Best to safe than sorry.
