    what symptoms do you get from a dogey inlet manifold gaskets? on a vr v6 auto?
    shes got a miss and ive replaced or checked everything else:
    plugs
    leads
    coil pack
    dfi
    crank angle sensor
    balancer
    throttlebody
    all sensors checked and or replaced
    compressions all good
    vaccum good
    computer

    please help

    Best indication is that she will lose some coolant...not much but noticeable. A VS in good condition will lose NO coolant.
    My fix for an intermittent or impossible to fix miss is to gap the plugs to 1.0mm instead of the recommended 1.5mm. Try it.

    Is the miss all the time? At idle? Under load?

    all the time! except for a couple of minutes on first start up in the morning when stone cold?
    head gasket tests ok!
