OK maybe I try LK3 again.

After you do the LED flash - the no speedo drive bit for a minute - what did you do?

Stop the car. reset the S1 and S1 to zero zero? Then drive off.... adjusting as you go with a GPS as guide speedo?

from memory, you put S1 to 2 and S2 to A fit LK2 and then drive the car so that the corrector kit can recognise the signal (indicated by the flashing LED) once the LED starts to flash stop the car, set S1 to 0 and S2 to 0 and then fit LK3. then if you start to drive your speedo should work at the original speed (no correction) then you can start playing with S1 and S2 to get it correct.

I worked out mathematically what correction i needed and that is what i set, then used a speedometer test on the motorway to check it, i left mine reading a little fast to give me a safety margin

OK I'm on LK4 for some reason - I'll go back to LK3 and see if the other Corrector gives same error - speedo drops dead if the zero zero setting is changed.

OK I had a bent pin on the main chip. So all working now. I have built 4 units and 3 work as they should. 1 has no red light flashing so I need to go back over the PCB.

Good to hear you got it sorted.

So what link pins did you end up using?

LK2 after setting A/2 for a minute. Then Lk3 got it going. I have 1 box that failed out of the 4 kits I built.

Also installed a corrector box into a VQ the other day and fixed up a 30% error. I shall build some more I think.
