Even just a removable rad support would make it a thousand times easier.

Im gonna go there, personally with a VL I would be selling the BBC, and using the money to buy an LS. The money you will burn making it fit just doesn't make it worth it. If you have a car like ARI's that came with a rat, sure, but if your doing an engine change, why do one that's harder for less gain. A BBC will never make the power of an LS dollar for dollar, it just doesn't make sense.

It didn't make sense that Chewbacca lived with a bunch of two foot tall Ewoks but here we are...

Hey man, no one can ever accuse me of following the norm, I get the whole "do something different" but squeezing an old school BBC in between VL chassis rails is pushing the friendship. Subscribed though, it's a cool idea in a farked up sort of way :). Just think if it goes ahead it's gonna burn a bucket load of cash and time.

Yea but you have an old school car that a BBC suits. Been said to me plenty of times wtf do that to "just a commodore" but as I said above, putting a rat into a little VL just seems a bit of a step too far. Only my opinion though.

I'd go the other way myself, I'd offload the VL for whatever it's scrap metal value is and buy a car more suited to having a big block chev fitted to it. #### LS, old school chev all the way.
