Hi all,

Has anyone got photos of installation of their towbar escutcheon, particularly for a sportswagon? Im trying to install one on my 2017 SV6 wagon, and looks like I might need to take off the bumper and cut a bit more out from the white painted section above the towbar? I cant figure out if the top of the escutcheon sits in front of the white of the bumper or behind the bumper.

Dealer did the install and they have cut possibly too little on the drivers side and top, which isnt a bad thing. Just trying to make it look a bit neater thats all.

Part number I used was 9226 9143. Instructions are brief at best.

Thanks

As you can probably see, the two black strips need to be cut out more to have it all sitting flush.

Banjo79, thanks for that. Looks right, I need to cut out some more of the black strips.

abuch47 - There is. Just need to be mindful of part numbers, from the install instructions there must be 10-15 different escutcheon parts available. So ute is different from wagon which is different from sedan, plus the Sv6/SS is different to Evoke/International is different to Calais/Calais-V is different to some of the HSV models.
